A Sky High Bunk for Three

My Room

Name: Isabella & Felix (5.5 year-old twins) and Aurelia (4)
Location: Jersey City, NJ

We live in a row house in Jersey City with two bedrooms and three kids. We used an IKEA child's KURA bunk bed and built a third level to create triple bunks.

We stripped and stained the IKEA bed dark brown and added faux bois white wallpaper to the sides of the bunks. We hung privacy curtains that the kids can easily open and shut as well as reading sconces. The walls are different shades of blue with silver stars and the ceiling is covered in clouds. It is meant to be a whimsical fun shared space for the kids.

Thanks, Jen!
