Sometimes the most simple ideas are the ones that save us the most time and in this case, strain. Although it seems quite logical to place diaper pails on the ground next to your changing table, there's no reason they can't be in the air, making them easier to get to and giving your back a break.
Now it's not like we change so many diapers in a day that a diaper pail placed 5 inches lower will land you in the chiropractor, but there's no reason you can't make things just that much easier.
Over at Young House Love, they shared a bit about their cloth diaper experience today and showed off a picture of their diaper disposal system. They hang on the side of their dresser changing table with common coat hooks and have a bit of padding at the base of each pail so they don't scratch the piece.
We think it looks great and is a small, smart idea that makes things just that much more simple.
