We always give the same bit of advice to friends looking for more storage space in their home office: Look up. There's plenty of vertical space to be had if you mount a few shelves above your desk. But what about those folks with standing desks? If this Flickr Find is any indication, you'll need to get low.

Most people round up their workplace literature on a tidy shelf above their desks. But with a counter-height, wall-mounted standing desk, Flickr member Jason Garber had to improvise.
The result? A bookshelf just below his desk:
My small home office is a standing desk ($19 IKEA table-top bolted to the brick wall!) which holds my MacBook Pro, a Mighty Mouse, Stay Puft, and a couple other things. The books below are sitting on a mid-century modern credenza that I picked up off of Craigslist about a year ago.
We love the clean look! Not to mention the fact that his credenza solution keeps a few fewer holes out of the lovely brick wall. What do you think?

Love this! What did you use to mount the table top to the wall?
