Name: H Sterling Cross
Location: Boise, ID
H. Sterling Cross is the man behind one of our recent Daily Tech Finds: The Carbon Fiber Magic Mouse. I happened upon his home office setup and marked it down for its refreshingly simple and orderly presentation; an admirable array of computer and audio gear contrasts beautifully against the aged wood desk with a warm patina. But where are all the wires besides the one snaking behind?
And if you like H. Sterling's computer desktop wallpaper, he's been so kind to share it via his Flickr page .

Shaw's Original Fir...
That desk is beautiful! Such simple classic lines, I need it!
my guess is the wires are stuck to the bottom of the desk..since his little outlet has two plugs.. i need to do an outlet like that on my desk lol
Tidy setup. I know it might be challenging, but subwoofers really should be placed on the ground.
I just wanted to stop by to thank Gregory Han and Apartment Therapy for featuring my workspace, or as I like to call it, my macspace! Thanks for featuring Carbon Fiber Magic awhile back, too. :)
@htone83, it's actually considered a 'mid-woofer', which is why it's on my desk. It's not a full sub-woofer; it doesn't vibrate anything off my desk (luckily), nor hurt my hearing. ;)
Seems weird to have a desk setup without a chair.
Clean, lean look and cutting edge technology. But, why have a lamp that is pretty and pretty useless. How can that lamp provide real illumination for your desktop? Good lighting seems to be the achilles heel of minimalist home office design.
