We've been told that ride-on toys help toddlers develop balance and motor skills, and we don't doubt it's true. Riding toys, though, are generally big for storage, and I'm not going to tell you how many times I've tripped over one. Is there a solution? Perhaps the "A" Wagon has one: when you aren't driving it, turn your ride-on into seating.
The "A" Stool and Wagon has a rather ingenious design; it's a specially-shaped stool with embedded wheels on its top. The result is a sturdy, stable stool that, when flipped over, functions as a ride on. Made from oiled oak and rubber wheels, it looks like a classic piece of furniture that could fit into most decor styles.
And, once your toddler is done riding it, you can still use the piece as a child's stool. We love repurposing!

Shaw's Original Fir...
This is great.
My son was doing the exact same thing the other day with his stool, minus the wheels!
am I the only that thinks this might dangerous for people using the stool as a step stool?
Gary - I wondered the same thing. What if you climb on it and put your weight on a wheel? A big person might have enough weight that the sides of their foot would push down and make contact, but a toddler? I'd be worried about that. Sigh, but for that reservation, this would be awesome for our small house.
