CA Home+Design offers a glimpse inside the digs of online publication, The Bold Italic, a site focusing on stories, personalities, and events revolving around the city by the bay. As eclectic as the site's content, so goes the interior decor of The Bold Italic's office/events space, mixing and matching design classics with salvaged scrap industrial elements, with plenty of multifunctional pieces, strewn throughout. All this was conceived by SF designer, Kelly Malone, amusingly described as "Martha Stewart meets Alice Cooper"...
Some inventive and insanely cool details worth noting throughout the creative editorial space: hunderds, if not thousands, of pencils glued to a wall as texture and color; clipboards painted different shades of orange, working as both decorative elements and usable as an art gallery; 18 individual clocks each representing different neighborhoods of San Francisco (yes, the Haight is always at 4:20).
