This is a great location of the desk in order to draw on natural light
The chair is on the wrong side of the desk! The light would make reading a screen difficult, and you wouldn't be able to look out the windows.
A floating desk is great, facing or not facing the window per your preference & exposure, but with a hardwood floor, how are you running cords that are not a trip hazard?
Isn't having a back to the window bad feng shui?
Having your back to the door is bad feng shui. You should always be able to see someone approaching. Nice bright room.
