Lola and Eric, both engineers from the East Coast, moved to Portland, Oregon about five years ago. They wanted to live in a bright space in their North East neighborhood, relatively small with plenty of natural light. When they came across a 600 square-foot home in walking distance to great restaurants and parks, they jumped on it, with plans from a local architect in hand...

is that a herman miller lcw or a reproduction? what finish is that and where did you get it?!
Hey do they live North, East, or Northeast? ;-)
it's actually 1250 sqft, not 600...
This house is in my neighborhood. How neat! So technically it's in North. Not North East or Northeast:)
Hey, where's my comment?! It was a nice one!
it says Portland, Oregon .. so Northwest
@ flipchik0037 - don't mind YoNella and PortlandVegan, they are just lightly clarifying which area of Portland the house is in as there is no North East here. :)
dweebgirl, if you click on the actual tour post, all the original comments are there.
nato - I read it as, they bought a 600 sq ft house, by the time they were done with rebuilding, the finished product was 1,250 sq ft

Wow, it is streamlined! I love it! And that is a sweeeeeeet play kitchen.
We have a similar sofa (though Lola & Eric's looks like a nicer model), and I love seeing it in such a different room. (We're clutter-monsters, and our room is full of shelving and pulp-magazine art.)
Love your home (and I love seeing the occupants too)!
