Our new home isn't your average space: it's an old church. And while we're more than excited at the idea of flipping a church into living quarters, there are a few conundrums along the way. We're taking things one step at a time, but when it comes to our kitchen, we're just not sure what to do with the hardwood floor.

I'd keep as much of the wood as possible. Can you have the ends cut in a large smooth curve and then have the remaining area done in polished concrete? My local coffee shop did this and it looks fabulous!
I agree Cats PJ's! As soon as I saw this picture I thought "cut soft curve in the end of the wood and pour concrete for the remainder of the floor"!
