Having any kind of storage is a gardener's dream, and this gorgeous example shows you don't need a lot of space to make it happen. A This Old House reader made his very own shed using salvaged good — it functions as a storage space, yard divider and mudroom and is less than 13-square-feet!
The This Old House reader wanted a storage shed, but decided by putting a second door on the back, it could have a second function as pass through divider between the flower garden and vegetable garden. It was all made by hand — here are the details:
- Made from a salvaged divided-light door, an antique stained-glass window, and a hand-built pine door
- Includes a shoe-changing bench, which folds up and out of the way
- The floor is made from square spindles spaced so that dirt falls through

Looks like an outhouse. A very cute outhouse...
Cute. It makes me think of grandad's shed in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.
Instantly started singing the Chitty Chitty Bang Bang song in my head when I saw this picture. Cute!!!
Can you imagine if you had this cute shed in your yard you could put all your husband's junk in it. Of course it would need to be bigger lol.
