We've all heard of treehouse hotels thanks to posts like this. But this one is a new idea to me: escaping to a treehouse sauna!Saunas always seem to me heavy, monolithic, and earth-bound with their heavy log exteriors and dark, seemingly ancient interiors. Here's what happens when you take a sauna and put it in a tree (well, actually among many trees, though initial concept sketches had visitors climbing up into it much like a treehouse).
That's what's been done at the Treehotel, a stylish and contemporary Swedish escape: A sauna has been constructed that is located out in the woods and is spread out on two levels, including a hot tub and area for just relaxing.
