We love displaying photos of family and friends around the house but sometimes, in smaller homes there's less surface space for picture frames. Hilda's wall of photos using vintage frames is perfect for displaying pics of those that are near and dear.
In addition to using vintage frames, a lot of the pics are vintage as well. Hilda gets creative using old passport photos of her folks for two of the frames (love). For a contrast of color, black wallpaper fills in a larger frame while some remain empty. We have lots of vintage picture frames that we picked up from the thrift store (which are usually inexpensive finds). We're definitely bookmarking Hilda's photo wall for future reference to use in our own home.

Were the 60s vintage in the 80s? Afraid so, lol.
But I feel your pain, peahen.
Actually, at least 14 of these are what you call "true" vintage frames, from the 1900s-1960s. But I consider the 80s to be vintage now, too!

The empty frames with old yellowing acidic paper still in them are making me cringe.
