Project by: Crystal Olig of Threshold Goods & Design
Location: San Francisco, California
I am a partner in a design firm that just relocated to San Francisco from Boston — my business partner actually made the move out, too — she's located in Alameda. My husband and I were set on living in San Francisco for at least a year despite the crazy rental market, and we found a GEM! It has a ton of space in the NOPA neighborhood at not too bad of a price either (though its all relative!).
I can never put a label on my style as it's constantly evolving — and I am always holding out on investing until we are in our "forever home" — but we definitely went more mid-century here...budget friendly though!
From the Threshold Goods & Design website: "This breezy San Francisco flat boasts an abundance of space and such charming Californian details that furnishing and decorating it was a pleasure. The couple’s love for iconic mid-century and modern furniture paired well with the existing Spanish and Deco architecture. Throughout the residence, the various styles were blended with touches of rustic details, feminine softness and large format photography."
Thanks, Crystal Olig!
