I absolutely fell in love with this airy weekend cabin in Stockholm Archipelago, Sweden. The cabin acts as work loft and studio of Swedish architect and artist, Carouschka Streijffert.
The decor conveys a simplistic, yet sleek design with the interior necessities of a rugged, minimalistic life. I adore the raw, floating staircase and wood burning stove fireplace. See more work by Carouschka Streijffert and her gorgeous weekend cabin at The Adventure Journal.

I like the old style of everything like the oven and stove. I also like the big window in the kitchen.
It is pretty but the open style of it makes it seem like it would be cold in there all the time because it would be hard to heat the place up.
I do love decorating with black.
Yes! This is the one I envisioned as a perfect weekend getaway with friends. I simply love the open nature of this cabin. Scandinavian design wins again!
