Name: Aad
Location: Rotterdam, Netherlands
Type of Home: rental
Color Inspiration: While the rest of my house is in a bright white and light grey palette, I wanted the office/study/bedroom corner of my house to be more cozy and expressive, without clashing with rest of the apartment. While keeping the flow by painting all floors white, I ended up with anthracites and blues in the bedroom nook.
Give Aad a THUMBS UP if you think this room belongs in the finals!

I love that stormy color with the bottle green chair against it. But is this really one room?
soothingly sophisticated.
Color names please!
i'm always happy to see photos of your place here on AT, aad!
thumbs up, of course!
Color doesn't equal 'screamingly bright' and this is a great example.
The color palette of the blocks around your bed breathe relaxation.
Also love the vintage lamp on your desk, the green chair and the cute black cat sleeping in the corner :)
I don't care so much about the blue as for the combination of the wooden desk, the gray wall color (love it!), silver shelves, and the green chair :o)
this is so me
This is more on the bland side than the colourful side...I see only a green chair and yellow painting that are colourful in the entire area...albeit there is nothing wrong with this, just that it defies the contest descriptors.
I like the 3rd and the 4th picture very much, however the rest of the pictures are not at the same level in my opinion. Anyway, nice style!
