- Inspiration for my palette:
- This bathroom is located in my work studio at home and as such, the goal was to integrate it into the overall experience of being in my creative space. I wanted to create an artistic, dramatic, welcoming and cozy feeling while using a color featured in the main space.
- Colors used in my room
- Burnt Orange, Chocolate, Caramel
- Tips for using color successfully
- Take the time to paint sample colors on the intended walls and look at the colors at different times of the day to be sure you're happy with it before committing.

Really love the colors. The burnt orange is gorgeous!
Love the color, love the bell ties on the shower curtain, LOVE the print, but WHAT is in your sink?!
This looks so relaxing. The orange reminds me of the color of my kitchen. I love it.
Pebbles in her sick.
Pebbles in her SINK..jeez...I need a break from the computer. :o}~
Oh my goodness, this is just the most amazing bathroom EVER! I would just love to see your whole house!
Abina, your bathroom is gorgeous & warm ... daily incentive to rise & shine! Everything is a work of art. Now, I'm off to display my bangles & cuffs in a ceramic bowl ... genius. The artwork of the woman is beautiful & full of vibrant colors! It looks like she is wearing some of the jewelry in your bowl. Is this a photo of you?
Oh My. I am feelin' this! My own home is filled with African art. I love that picture. Please share where you got it. You got my vote. :)
very unique color palette!
I cannot favorite this enough. I adore your use of rich warm colors, and I am in love with the bells you used as curtain pulls. I would never have thought of that!
Love your bathroom!
Omb I am loving this. Great you need to make over mine. Love it.
This shows how to transform a very non descript bathroom. I'd remove the big candle from the toilet tank and get a free standing tp holder, take out the wallmount one and paint patch. Always have a full, near full roll on when photographing a room.
LyonStill is correct those are pebbles in the sink
Thank you for the comments and support, I'm glad you all enjoy the space :-)
Lifeabundant: the art was a gift from the photographer. I absolutely adore the moment and vibrant colors.
Rmbnn: great tips, especially about the tp roll, thank you.
WOW! LOVE THIS!!
Love the warmth this room emits. I can just imagine what the rest of your place is like. Please so a full tour soon! Thanks for letting us in.
Loving the candle sticks and the picture canvas in the background :-)
