The home was originally built in 1933, for silent film star Billie Dove. There are lots of rich wood accents throughout the home. The light in the space has a moody quality, but it doesn't feel serious. Instead, we think it feels comfortable and playful. We are loving the olive and amber tones that keep the space warm and cozy. We also love all the large scale colored glass accents he's put in, which give drama and pop accents, without feeling overbearing or heavy. When asked what his design philosophy is, he says "...It's about creating a feeling, not over thinking everything. I intuit first, analyze later. A house and a garden should first be about, 'This feels good.'"
