Just because a guy gives in to the call of the great outdoors doesn't mean that roughing it is required — hunting and fishing are just as much fun when done with a little sophistication. Here are a few accessories to keep a fellow and his surroundings looking sharp, even in the middle of nowhere.

ooooooooooh i might live in the city but, i feel i need an axe! (if i get an axe perhaps a cabin will follow?!)
everything looks awesome except for that man purse.
that barometer is sexy.
The man purse is bad.
Honestly i would never buy any of these things for a man in my life, except for the thermos and knife. They would probably look at me like, "WTF is this?"
These are great if your gentleman adventurer goes on safaris in the 1920s. But for modern day outdoors folks, half of this stuff is fairly ridiculous. Wool blanket? Straight razor? Leather bag? There's a reason why people buy fabrics like GoreTex...
Gotta agree -
Nowadays, we shave w/ a Mach 3.
We ride in Jeeps & carry our things around in backpacks.
Use the GPS and Notes on our iPhone for the weather and journaling.
and we sleep in sleeping bags.
I would love to know who is foolish enough to pay $220 for an axe.
My husband already has the axe, the thermos, and the knife. He'll be happy to know his camping gear trend-right!
Wool blanket is better than Gore-Tex. I got a couple guys who would love this stuff. Too bad its so expensive.
Wool, cotton, and leather are great until they get wet...
