The 2012 London Olympics will soon be here! With the opening ceremony on July 27th, there's still time to pick up a couple of decorations for your party. Celebrate with traditional English foods like fish and chips, bangers and beer, or even curry (extremely popular among Londoners). And you'll be ready to go!

Very cool! But that first poster has a typo. If you click the link under #1, you'll see they corrected it. :)
AT- its not just Londoners who love curry- it's all but a national dish! :-)
ps Great poster by the way, much nicer than the official posters that have been available for some time.
Janeya - we love some Union Jack bunting down in London. There were reams of it during the Jubilee!
Janeya, for snacks you can look for English cheeses (Cotswold, Wensleydale, Cheshire) and crackers or cookies (Digestives and Hob-Nobs are my favorites). Finger sandwiches (cucumber, or boiled egg and tomato) are good too. For dessert, how about Eton Mess? Strawberries, meringue and fresh cream stirred together, it's light but rich summery treat. Nigella Lawson has a good recipe. Hope you have fun!
Wish the poster was available in the US. And I love what they've done with the chevron pillow.
Nice poster! Didn't manage to get tickets for the Olympics, unfortunately. Also, it's a pity that everyone who does come to London (and ordinary Londoners) are going to be ripped off whilst the games are on.
Saw the torch as it passed my flat this morning! I am SO excited. Ive bagged tickets and cant wait till the opening ceremony. So tired of people being so negative about the games, I plan to thoroughly enjoy it!
