Um, if they don't sit flat, how do you light them without hot wax dripping and spilling on everything?

I love the idea in theory, I just see this being as disastrous as the time I tried to turn seashells into candles (and they weren't level and tipped over and spilled wax on everything).

Aren't acorns flammable? They're super cute, but I think I'm with confounded.

They're adorable, and I think you give great use ideas for them - alternative cake candles & floating in an autumn bowl.. I've always been mesmiraized by floating leaves in small pools of water the fall - I imagine these little guys in a shallow bowl with a few leaves - perfect.
Obvious that they aren't going to stand alone -sometimes you have to think outside of the nutshell. ;)
