Apartment Therapy reader Adam shared this suite with us after we wrote about the Chelsea Hotel last week. He was the designer for the restoration of this two bedroom suite at the New York City landmark...

Our favorite element of the restoration? The gorgeous midnight blue walls in the suite's main bedroom. See more on the suite here. Delve into more of Adam's design work at his website, Greco Deco. (thanks, Adam!)

I am in need of a vacation and this would be perfect!
very nice--mysterious, classic, & playful bohemian. nicely captures the chelsea!
love it!
Wow - Loving the Vladimir Kagan furnishings in the sitting room...
Very nice and thanks to that post of last week, I eventually found the actual blog for the Chelsea Hotel and the past couple of years have not been pretty when it comes to management and how the long term residences have been treated by 2 rogue minor shareholders who hostily took over the hotel from the Bards who'd been running/managing it since the 40's.
The current owners want to make it into a botique hotel, which is so totally out of character of what the place has been for many, many years.
And for those who are not aware, it's been home to artists and other bohemian types and Bob Dylan stayed there for a time and sadly, his room was a total gut reno, and illegally too for it was not in the renovation/building permits which only permit bathroom/kitchen updates and one resident activist, arthor Nash has been victimized and assulted by one of the rogue shareholders for his activism in saving the hotel from mismanagement.
I love this Hotel and I think they have done a great job in keeping the charm, thankfully it did not go Starkism or too corporate.
