AT has already joined them many, many, many times. Let's not join them anymore.
Yes, let's not join people who steal the materials for their DIY projects.
It's not stealing when they give something away for free. I'd rather see them put to good use than just thrown away!
Why assume that they were stolen? I have outdated paint decks that I purchased or found at garage sales that I use. I also have a TON of chips collected in a drawer from the process of actually looking for paint colors.
How easy is it to use the chips from a paint color that you actually used on your walls for a color coordinated project? Just use the lighter and darker shades of your color and BOOM! instant appeal.
Here go the irritating shouts of "stealing" ... GEEZ, stop it--don't assume!
We've moved 5 times in the last 7 years and usually repaint every room a different color (we like color and freshly painted walls!). I keep my paint chips, but paint companies are always discontinuing a bunch and bringing in a bunch of new colors, so I end up getting yet more paint chips. Let's see, 12-20 possible paint samples for each room times 10-12 rooms times 5 moves ... yeah, I have enough for a project. And *NOT* by "stealing."
