Many small space dwellers are short on closet space. We spotted this simple, clever solution for beefing up your hanging storage space on the Instructables blog. It's a variation on another chain and hanger system we've blogged about before. (You'll find an alternate method for thicker closet rods, after the jump...)
In the first photo, the chain is attached to an S hook which is then attached to the skinny rod. Most of us have thicker closet rods. In that case, like in the photo above, you can just hook the chain over a top hanger to do the job.
This idea seems particularly well suited to hanging off-season clothing in small spaces. For more photos and information, check out the post on Instructables!
