We were lucky to get one free from GreenPets during the Dog Days of Summer Sale, but you can find it online for $7.51 from Arcade Pet Supplies.
Be warned that our puppy loves the fish too and chewed it up. We may have to buy another one...

ah! i got this fish at greenpets to put in my parent's cats' stocking at xmas (we're cheesy, yes). brought it home, it was in its own bag, which was then in another shopping bag...my own cats started going crazy trying to dig it out of the shopping bags! had to try a few different hiding places so they couldn't get to it! really must be some powerful catnip! highly recommend :)
I have the banana-shaped version of this toy (I got it at the Big Bad Woof in Takoma Park) and my cat can attest to the potent catnip content - she absolutely loves it!
I got one of these years ago, and my cats adore it! I've also gotten them the banana, cigar, and lemon shapes. Spoiled rotten cats.
I've been lurking for a while, but this discussion finally prompted me to register. I will state unequivocally that these are the best catnip toys of all time. I sent a few to my sister's cats in San Diego (gretchenalexis, you have nothing over me in cheesiness :-) ) Anyway, the items were packed in a large computer box made of thick cardboard, wrapped in plastic, and located at the bottom of the box. My sister reported that when she came home, her cat Zeke was sitting on the sealed box like a bomb-sniffing dog.
My cats had the same reaction when a friend sent the Luck Duck toys to my cats. They could smell the aroma through a closed front door and were just standing on the other side waiting in anticipation.
My cat loves little multicolored wool felted balls (made in Nepal). I found them at Mad Cat in Madison, WI- haven't seen them online. They were marketed as dog toys, but they come in all sizes- I have 3, one 3 inch diameter, and two 2 inch ones. They were very cheap ($3 each) and look beautiful on my coffee table or mantle. I put them up there and then she knocks them down and chases them. Everyone's happy.
PS My kitty has the lemon catnip toy from this company, which I bought after she finally destroyed the carrot. Everyone is right- they ARE the best catnip toys of all time.
