Ruffly (and pricey) shower curtains from Anthropologie have been on many Apartment Therapy bloggers lists of favorites. Still, $100+ for a shower curtain can be hard to swallow. Luckily, with some basic sewing knowledge, making your own will just take a little time.
The beauty of making your own ruffled shower curtain is that you can customize it with your favorite fabric or create different patterns with the ruffles. So whether you are opting for something slightly nautically themed or full out girly, this tutorial will allow you to design the perfect shower curtain to add that finishing touch to your bathroom.

I much prefer this curtain to ones from Anthropologie! Just seems a lot simpler and less "frou-frou".
Great idea.
Really pretty curtain!!!
I love the stripes! I did basically the same thing a few months ago. For mine I used white linen and natural linen for the ruffles and left the edges of the ruffles raw. If only i had that tub!
Another fantastic idea i must try!
