If you've been reading Apartment Therapy over the past few weeks, you've probably noticed quite a few posts about The Cure, and Re-Nest has been doing its own Green Cure. The Cure was my first introduction to Apartment Therapy, and when it was done, I was happier not because my home was beautiful (although it was), but because it now supported my goals and led me to where I am today. And that is the aim of The Cure and of The Happiness Project.
Founded and created by Gretchen Rubin, The Happiness Project (soon to be a book) looks to the question of happiness — What is it? How do I achieve it? — and sets out to describe concrete ways to do just that. From weekly tips that encompass clearing clothes clutter (she believes it will make you happier) to whether money can buy you happiness (she has eight ways in which it will) to quotations that will inspire you, she tackles the question of how to get "there." For more information, click here and, if you haven't yet "cured" your own house, we believe that might be a good place to start. It certainly worked for us. Check it out here and join us in the spring.
