When it comes to sprucing up a set of shelves, more often than not we'll be talking about paint. Not because it's our first reaction (which it is), but because there's not too much you can do with shelves. But what about wallpaper instead? We still want to make some shelving out of hollow core doors and a little wallpaper might just be what's needed to make them look extra spiffy!

The best part about using wallpaper is there's less mess to clean up when you're done and you can even hit up local stores to find remnants on the cheap. You can also find clearance rolls online that might work well for the situation, but either way you're talking about a deal. Even if you want a full priced paper, you won't be using too much, so the damage won't be as extreme as if you were doing a whole wall.

Make sure to check out this tutorial onmaking hollow core door shelves (it's super cool!) or start examining the shelving you already own and see if it needs a little boost when it comes to the personality department!
