Do you find a lot of items on various websites you browse over the course of the day that you want to keep saved away for a later time to hunt down, purchase, comparison shop or just put together for an inspirational look book? You might want to check out adding the Amazon Universal Wish List Button, offering the option to wish yourself anything from any site...
The process is simple, painless and we've just got started adding items to remember for after we win tonite's Mega Million Lottery. Drag and drop the "add to wishlist" to your bookmarks bar and press it when you see something you want to add. You can add in a price and notes so you can remember if you wanted "pillow X" in navy or lime. Fun online tool for those of us who always end up saying, "Darn, I forgot where I saw that thing-a-muh-jig last week on Apartment Therapy." Download the button at Amazon.
Now pardon me while I wait for Padma to be delivered via Super Saver shipping any moment now.

very cool. I wonder if this would be a useful way to have a wedding registry that is spread all over the web???
That's a great idea actually. Maybe I should get married now :D
I love Kaboodle for this use, one of the fun things with Kaboodle, is not only can you add things without really interrupting your browsing, you can connect to other people that you think have great taste and grab things from them as they add. Plus you can import your amazon list really easily.
Stylehive is a similar concept designed for shopping. (It would be perfect as a wedding registry, ARobin, except there's no way to know if something's been purchased.) But I like that the amazon list is private, not broadcast to the whole user community.
Thanks for the Kaboodle tip! Can you tell I'm trying to create a registry from untraditional sources?! Back to Amazon: they even have a html script that allows you to add a button that links yo your wishlist from your website (if you happen to have a wedding website ;-)
I love this feature. Have been using it for some time now. Since it keep the picture, it's much easier to find things than bookmarking.
I use kaboodle
I used this for my baby shower, fabulous! People (well, my friends and family at least) are much more comfortable with Amazon than something they haven't heard of.
Finally!
I've been wishing for just this!!
I'm glad that Amazon finally made this possible.
You've been able to add things from ANY where online from Kaboodle since it launched. It's a great place for gift registries and I used it for my home remodel. I was able to share my online finds with my husband and had lists for the bathroom, living room, kitchen, etc. I also find a lot of great items on Kaboodle just by running a search. It's awesome!
