Embroidered housewares? Not on the linen in #1 (no tell-tale stitches on the back side), nor on that porcelain plate (#8). Hand-done embroidery is a labor of love, and as someone who has occasionally done embroidery, I am bothered by printed and mass-produced products that masquerade as the real thing.
But there is lots of lovely hand-made embroidered goods on ETSY, such as this, and this and this.
That suzani from the Yurdan site is really great, but has anyone shopped from there? I'm wary about sending financial information to non-US sites.
The feather runner is lined, which is why you don't see the stitches. (I wondered, too, so I checked.)
