Name: Adelyn June (8 months)
Location: Minneapolis, MN
Color Inspiration: We love the color combination of sky blue and deep pink, and wanted blue to be the dominant color in her room. She has nine cousins who each designed a circle for her using a variety of vibrant colors and patterns, which hang on the wall. Those colors are also reflected throughout the nursery in her bedding, lighting, organizing baskets, and a picture frame that holds a letter that we wrote to her on the day she was born. We wanted it to be a bright, warm space for her to enjoy, learn, and grow in.
Tip for Using Color: Our best tip for using color is not to get caught up being too "matching". You can use a variety of colors that compliment each other and create a warm space. The other benefit of not matching too much is that it is easier to get things for the room when the color palette has a wide range.
Colors Used: Sky blue, light pink, dark pink, green, yellow, orange, purple, white, and gray.
Thanks for your colorful entry Karin and good luck!
