It's the month for New Year's resolutions and we're always delighted when technology can aid in achieving our goals for the year. Nike+ is one of our favorite sport technology inventions to improve our running performance. All you soccer players may be interested in the Adidas miCoach app that syncs with the chip in their f50 soccer cleats to track your performance on the field.
We think anyone from recreational to pro soccer players can find great use in the miCoach app. After all, if you want to improve your game you need to know where you stand first. Adidas f50 soccer cleats are equipped with a miCoach SPEED_CELL, which is a chip that is placed in the cavity of the f50 cleats, or can be clipped to the laces of your shoe.
The SPEED_CELL monitors your personal stats like your top speed, number of sprints, distance in speed zones and total distance covered during training. You can monitor your progress over time with the free miCoach app and compare your stats with your teammates or friends that you play with. If you think you're a star, you can also compare your stats with professional players like Dani Alves.
Adidas plans to release similar apps for tennis, football and basketball, so you players hang tight!
