Advice for Learning a Second Language as a Family

Q: We are looking to teach our 2 .5-year-old son, and eventually our 5-month-old, Mandarin Chinese as a second language. At the same time, we are trying to learn ourselves. We have found very limited resources for parents attempting to do this, aside from a few DVDs and websites. Has anyone successfully learned and taught your children a second language at the same time? Are there any great resources anyone would recommend? We live in a very sheltered suburb that does not have anything to offer locally.
