OK, so when we first saw this...kitchen...we kept getting flashbacks to 2001: A Space Odyssey ("Hello HAL, do you read me, HAL?"). The Aion Kitchen is designed by Antoine Lebrun and incorporates the use of specialized plants developed for their filtering and cleaning properties to help the owner cook and clean...

These super space-age (and super crazy!) plants were built to filter water and air...and create natural soap. Whaaaa?

In the open stage, you can cook on the left surface--any fumes or smoke are filtered by the SuperPlants. After you're done cooking, leave the dishes in the sink on the right, close the hood, and the plants will do the dishes and clean the cooktop.

As reviewer Anh Ta at ProductDose observed: "Soon, it will achieve AI and send a robot back in time to destroy you and all traces of your George Foreman grill." We couldn't have said it any better.
