It's easy to covet furniture made from reclaimed wood but it's often prohibitively expensive. And Broyhill Furniture isn't a brand that's referenced too often on AT - they're not quite known for hip, contemporary pieces but these tables certainly deserve a second look. We're particularly fond of the 2 nesting cocktail tables which would run you...
$419 for the two tables. You could use the lower table as a footrest/ottoman and the upper table for drinks, books, etc. The tables are made from salvaged pine, and finished in a nutmeg toned stain.
Check them out here.

Is there any creosote risk with these?
I have the reclaimed coffee table from Viva Terra (slightly more expensive). It's beautiful.

Salvaged pine? Yikes...was all the good reclaimed wood taken or something?
Viva Terra knock-offs!
why do I have to buy 2 when I only want one? what if i just need the coffee table? then they lost my sale...
Love the look of the reclaimed table tops...a bit of rustic for so many different styles. Ethan Allen has a great one - albeit slightly more expensive...but at least looks it.

Thanks... now I have the "Wheel of Fortune" theme song stuck in my head...
I found this guy on New York's Craigslist (but I believe he spans New England) who made me a very nice and also affordable reclaimed wood coffee table: http://www.silotables.com/
Nice.
I think there are craftspeople in most cities/regional districts who are working with reclaimed wood.
And hey AT, thanks for adding all the unique posts lately. I visit AT for ideas and products that I normally wouldn't find myself.
Very Vervoordt.
(Viva Terra wasn't the first, alas.)
I don't think they're knockoffs... probably the place that manufactures these tables and shelves aren't exclusively making them for VivaTerra...
Welcome to the new millenium, Broyhill.
Oh I have a gorgeous midcentury Broyhill Brasilia bedroom set, and I didn't realize they were still in business. Yeah, too bad they aren't the innovators they appear they once were! I just found this quote online....Very intersting....
"Broyhill is a good manufacturer (or was--all of their casegoods are made in China now) and used to have above-average joinery and finishing, but because of some bad decisions in the 1970s and 80s where the quality of their brand was equated with plastic mouldings and really questionable design choices, their brand never earned the recognition it deserved among fine furniture buyers."
I'm not sure I can see $400 for 2 cocktail tables as affordable...
