Having grown up in California, we aren't too familiar with snow fences. But apparently they keep snow off roads in states like Wyoming. They're also perfect for reuse in homes.
Centennial Woods, a company that maintains snow fences throughout Wyoming, gathers older boards from the fences and sells them for use in commercial and residential projects.
The boards from snow fences are great for reuse as floors, accent walls, ceilings, and even exterior siding. We think the worn, grayish look of the wood is beautiful. We love the rustic feeling it gives the bedroom pictured above.

we are so thinking about doing beanboard/wainscotting all the way up our headboard which is actually a massive IKEA hacked wardrobe (link here: http://www.casacullen.com/2010/01/before-and-after-casacullens-master-bedroom-a-continual-work-in-progress.html)
i am seriously looking this company up pronto as this just might be EXACTLY what we want...yippee!
if i DO end up using their boards, i'll def shoot some pics your way! THANK YOU for posting - http://www.casacullen.com/
