The Agnes Lofts just happen to be in the same development as one of our favorite Italian restaurants, but that's not all the condo complex has to recommend it. Situated parallel to Capitol Hill's main drag, Broadway, the Agnes Lofts are up for the 2008 AIA Honor Awards for Washington Architecture.
The lofts were designed to be modern, yet fit in with the surrounding repurposed and renovated old warehouses, including the Piston & Ring Building which shares the property. The building has been nominated for the award alongside eight others (in the 'built' category).
