Air Conditioned Bed

Now that it has become really warm, this air conditioned bed suddenly seems very appealing. Using dual fans, air is pulled in from the head end of the mattress, through an internal membrane that becomes a cushion, and is then exhausted out the foot end of the bed. The result is a nice continuously cool cushion of air for you to sleep on. We would be really interested to try our hand...or backside at this.

Maybe if I had this on my side of the bed, I wouldn't have to keep the room so cold and my husband wouldn't catch cold from the cold air in the room...

It vents hot air at the foot? How is that better?

I'm a little confused by how exactly the technology works. But rather than using more electricity to cool the bed, I'd just as soon get a ventilated memory foam mattress topper, which supposedly will draw the heat away from my body and keep me cool. I have no idea if it works, but I'm planning to get one and find out. :-)
