LEGO and technology. Could there be a better combination? LEGOs hearken to the age when we were kids running around and building stuff. I can still remember all of the fun that I had with my LEGO bricks in Kindergarten and when I was growing up. Maybe this is the reason why most people just love the things. LEGOs are great. They are an educational toy that just keeps on giving. As you might have heard, LEGOs aren't only bricks anymore. LEGO electronics are just around the corner!

You won't believe it, but this Alcatel cell phone is a fully licensed LEGO product. However, it's not fully compatible with the LEGO system, that would be too sweet. Now you might think that only thing that this phone really has is interchangeable faceplates. You're wrong. This comes out of the LEGO and Digital Blue collaboration that we heard about earlier this year. The phone and the other gadgets are slated to be released this summer. The one really cool thing about these electronics for kids, is that they would be affordable, in the $20 to $60 price range.

From what we can see, it appears that the phone will have modular attachments and faceplates. Apparently these attachments will enhance the functionality of the phone. Nothing more is really known about this LEGO phone, but we'll keep you updated when we know more. I can already imagine all of the modular add-ons that you could snap-on, like cameras and the like.
