When we spotted this cooktop, we were stunned. Always on the lookout for great cooktops we were taken a back by the beauty, elegance, and sustainability of this appliance. Columbian designer Alejandro Sanchez has created a cooktop that seeks to add something unique to the appliance market not only through the gorgeous look of this cooktop but also through it's smart design.
Dubbed the "Cooktop for Environment," it is a mixed gas-cooktop (3 gas-burners/ 1 electric) that seeks to reduce energy consumption and ensure the safety of the users. We love the look of the burners finished in white glass-ceramic alloy and the support arms made of polished steel. The glass-ceramic surface is easy to clean, shockproof, and recyclable. Another big plus is the digital display which allows for precise control of each component.
We love the aesthetics of this cooktop as well as the efficiency that it provides. To save on energy, the cooktop closes the valve to control the gas-flow, when not in use. Thanks to the sensors and mechanism inside of the arms of each burner, the cooktop can also detect the temperature of the pots on top of the burner.
We are eager to see this appliance in production, as it provides the energy efficiency we desire in one great looking package. Would you be interested in owning this appliance?
