We've always associated Northern California ceramicist Alex Marshall with dinnerware. (Maxwell's written about her several times, here and here and here, for instance.) So we were interested to see that she also makes lamps.
The ceramic lamps have a modern, minimal, bold feel, yet their asymmetry gives them an organic twist. And we like knowing that each lamp is unique.
Available in 14 colors (besides good old standbys like white and charcoal, colors include aqua, oxblood, marble, and brown stripe) and two sizes at 2modern.
Prices are $225-$330.
