Alexander Girard at Urban Outfitters

We're certainly not objecting to the renewed popularity (and licensing) of iconic textile designer Alexander Girard's work. And we think it's perfect for kids - colorful, graphic and a little big folksy. Urban Outfitters has released a small, exculsive collection of his patterns on bedding, pillows, curtains and wall art.

We've chosen a few of our favorites above and you can see the full collection here. The prices are a bit more than you might normally find at Urban Outfitters, but still accessible.
We're particularly drawn to the bedding (quilts, duvets, shams and sheets) because bedding is, after all, giant pieces of fabric which you could make into crib-size quilts, playmats, stroller blankets, etc.
