Last year I compiled a list of the things I'd like to see under the Christmas tree if money was no object. I've had a whole other year to shop, and I've seen lots of pretty things, but these are my very favorites of 2012.
Pictured above, clockwise from top left:
1. Napoleon Bust Candle, $175.00
This Napoleon-shaped candle is a little bizarre — which is exactly why I need him.
2. Bronze Chandelier, $14.400
One of my favorite trends for 2012 is modern shapes rendered in luxe materials. This lovely geometric chandelier from BEC Britain is just what my dining room needs.
3. SK4 Record Player by Dieter Rams for Braun, prices vary
Designed by Dieter Rams for Braun in 1956, the SK4, affectionately known as 'Snow White's Coffin,' remains one of the most beautiful, and most sought-after, record players ever. They occasionally pop up on Ebay for around $1,000, so for now I'll stick to my Sony.
4. Zeolite Tray, $608.00 – $1,250.00
I fell in love with these gemstone trays while creating this roundup of home goods made from rocks.
5. Milo Baughman Rosewood Case Sofa, prices vary
A Milo Baughman rosewood sofa in blue velvet? Yes, please. I spotted this particular sofa on Bond and Bowery; it has sold, but the deep-pocketed can find a similar piece on 1st Dibs.
6. Madagascar Wallpaper, $798.00 for a roll
A beautiful, painterly take on the Rorschach blot.

Ercol Bar Stool
none of these, except maybe the record player, are really attractive to me. I guess thats the beauty of different taste, we all would have a different list
OMG that Braun SK4...
Not sure I could respect anyone who paid $175 for a candle.
EVERYTHING please! Geez, gorgeous.
(Well, I could do without the candle-much rather spend $175 on a fab dinner out!)
That candle is pretty awesome.
Most of these picks don't interest me except that incredible sofa and that rather groovy looking record player.
How about this true blue beauty!
