A new, black Nintendo Wii game console is set to launch in Japan on August 1, according to the Amazon.co.jp product page (Thank goodness for Google Translate!).
It might be more prone to showing dust, but the announcement of the black Wii is sure to put a smile on the face of aesthetites with a taste for darkness. Even though there's no word of the black Wii hitting the U.S. market anytime soon, we figure it can't be too far behind.
The new black Wii is exaclty the same as it's white counterpart—it just features a new black colored exterior. And don't worry, the Wiimotes and nunchucks are not left behind: They've been given the goth makeover, too.
