Medion: Great Looking Multi-Touch Computer and HDTV

As full tower desktops become rarer and laptops become ubiquitous with modern daily life, it's apparent that desktops and HDTVs will become one functional device at a certain point. More and more all-in-one desktops are being released. It's only a matter of time before all HDTVs come with complete integrated computers.

The Medion X9613 is a mix between a multi-touch desktop and a HDTV. It comes with everything to serve as your one stop for all of your entertainment needs. It's got a 24-inch multi-touch screen, Blue-ray drive, and a Quad core processor. What you really notice is how good this system looks. The device, which is only available in Europe for the time being, will sell between $2,100 and $2,700.

It's a bit pricey, but as more super all-in-ones like this appear on the market, the more the prices will come down. It's perfect since it's powerful enough to serve as your main computer and your HDTV. The only thing that leaves us wanting is screen real estate. 24" is a good size for a computer monitor, but a bit small for an HDTV. We'd like to see a 37" version come out. Now that would be cool.
