We wouldn't go for this look in our own home, but in a hotel it's kind of refreshing. Especially in a city like Florence, that's packed to the gills with overwhelming art and architecture, it must feel nice to come back to a room with white walls, white sheets, and the occasional gilded detail.
The interiors were designed by Italian company Cyrus, which has been making bespoke, all-white furnishings since the 1970s. With one foot grounded in minimalism and the other in detail-oriented custom furniture, Cyrus describes its philosophy as one in which "form always has substance and elegance is embodied in a gesture, a detail."
Details of the design include linen curtains, tufted beds, and careful concealment of technology and cords. The only strong color comes in flashes of gold, floral arrangements, or the occasional throw on the bed.

All of my bath linens, bed linens, kitchen towels, and china are white. White textiles can tolerate a little bleach, and white china is easy to add to as needed. There's plenty of color and pattern elsewhere in my home to balance against the white.
I'm in love with every headboard featured...
I love the simplicity and grandeur of the gilded element...you can drift away on white and dream in gold.
I love this. Its not clinical and feels very calming dare I say Luxurious! I too love white linens, china and kitchen pieces.
Had a drawing teacher at Parsons. I was very lucky to be one of only 2 students that she invited into her flat that year and it was a studio with a balcony overlooking central park. Everything was white. Walls, bed, mid-century furniture. She explained it's much easier to create and be inspired that way. Loved it! Still do.

My bedroom is mostly white, except for the floor and some artwork. We have white wardrobes, chests, walls, ceiling, linens, and bed curtains. It's extremely relaxing.
I wouldn't like it in my own home, but I love all white interiors like this. Their little tagline is right on, all of the subtleties pop when there is nothing to shift the focus.
Looks so dreamy and peaceful. I can imagine just hitting those pillows and drifting off into the best sleep ever.
