Pitchers from Table Art

Pitchers from Table Art

Along with our recent interest in bedside carafes, we spend a lot of time thinking about serving and drinking vessels in general. It's the kind of thing that may seem like a small touch, but really adds some elegance to a summer soiree (or a party for one or two, for that matter). We found two lovely pitchers from T art, the LA-based "Table Art" shop. While our quest for the perfect pitcher will continue this week using Chicago sources, these beauties are getting us off the ground... The first of our two picks is the Italian-made Paola C. Donna silverplate pitcher that sells for $275. This looks like the kind of piece that could stay in the family for years. Our other favorite is the summery Cocktail pitcher and stirrer, a sleek handmade glass design from the UK (retailing at a more affordable $49.50). We absolutely love the look of this one and the stirrer is a great compliment, but we're wondering how comfortable or easy it would be to pour sangria without the help of a handle. Use this one with care!
