Alpana Bawa: Eastern Color Meets West

If you're looking for color, you need go no further than Alpana Bawa. Nestled in the hip East Village, Alpana has long been known for the standout colors of her men's shirts and womens clothing, but she has recently been expanding into pillows and quilts.

Inspired by both East and West and "spanning the sea of monochromicity," Alpana's wildly colorful textiles range from subdued to psychedelic. We are particular fans of her large pillows that draw from the delicate shadows of flowers and the dot on dot patterns that take Panton a step further.

NYMag Says: Hip New Yorkers flock to Alpana Bawa for her clever cocktail of contemporary styling and exotic, embellished fabrics.
