Brace yourself as I'm about to reveal some late breaking design news. Ready? Typography is in! Let's be honest, the only way any of you didn't know this is if you were living under the sea. Typography in interior design is as pervasive as the flu — you just can't get away from it. Although this trend is everywhere, I have never seen the trend demonstrated as creatively and usefully as it has with the collections pictured here:
Both ABChairs by Roeland Otten and the Aakkoset Shelf by Kayiwa are great because of the same things: they are as beautiful as they are useful. Of course, purchasing these pieces just to hop onto the Typography Bandwagon will be far more expensive than "investing" on an IKEA alphabet print, but it is safe to say that they will also go out of style far after the print does.
