Alphabet Plates' melamine plates are BPA-free and come in four categories: "kidfood" with a choice of nearly 20 favorite foods (we'd be interested to know how well the broccoli one sells!), "sport", "monogram" and "face it" which has a neat interactive tool allowing you to choose hair styles, skin color, accessories, etc. as well as your own text.

Their "all set" placemats are made from a heavy-duty laminate and can be wiped down or thrown under the faucet for quick clean-up. You can even choose a double-sided placemat with a different language on each side which is great for bilingual households or for kids starting to learn another language.
