Alternative Storage Solution: Tiered Wire Hanging Basket

We were given one of these old-fashioned three-tiered wire hanging basket awhile ago, and we just unearthed it from the bottom of a packing box. Having no space for it in our kitchen, a friend suggested hanging it in the closet to hold socks, scarves, and other accessories. Not a bad idea!

I keep meaning to plant mine, but I keep not deciding with what/where.

Why not use it in the bathroom for rolled up washcloths, soaps, etc?

I hung one by my dresser for easy and organized access to hair stuff: elastic bands, clips, barrettes...

I still like to use mine the old-fashioned way-- for holding garlic bulbs and onions and such. Has that gone out of style?

When I had a tiny apartment in DC (the kitchen was the smaller than my current closet!) I hung one in the bathroom for towels & TP, and one two in the kitchen; one for fresh fruit and veggies and the other for towels, cloth napkins, candles, etc.

I've been using one in my bathroom for years to hold all of my hair products, makeup, and nail polishes. It really helps keep everything at hand and yet out of the way.
